Online Training FAQs
How will it be accessed?
Candidates will need a standard PC with internet access. The training will be completed on an individual basis and there is no time limit set, so candidates can progress at their own rate.
How many times can it be accessed?
Licenses will be issued on a per user basis. So a company with 10 staff would need ten licenses.
Will it be certified?
Certificates will be issued on completion of the course to each successful candidate. Certification can only occur once in any twelve month period. However, users are free to view the course as many times as they like.
Is there a reporting procedure in place?
Quarterly reports will be issued summarising which staff took the training and on what date. Monthly reports are also available for £60 per annum.
What is the syllabus?
The course will follow the structure of our popular Fire Awareness Training.
What format is the content in?
The training is presented in a slide by slide format on the web page, with candidates progressing through each slide in turn. The course includes presentation notes prepared by a former Fire Officer, photographs to illustrate each key point, a voice over, several videos demonstrating best practice and key questions at each stage of the training to check the candidate has understood the content.
Will it work with my Learner Management System (LMS)?
Training can be supplied as a SCORM Compliant zip file that you can just drop into your Learner Management System (LMS) or alternatively it can be accessed via the internet from any standard PC at any time.
Does this replace practical training?
We recommend that online training is run as part of a long term fire safety training strategy. It does not replace face to face training, but rather complements it. A typical three year strategy would feature two consecutive years of online training, followed by a practical training session in the third year.

How much will it cost?
Online training is priced on a per user basis. Prices start from £2 per head, depending on numbers.

Yes you can. We can incorporate your logo, corporate style and colours into the course so it becomes unique to you. This is available from £150 (subject to exact specification).
