Course Introduction
More than half of transport, logistics and distribution operators have suffered a major environmentally-hazardous spill, according to new research by the Environment Agency and the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF).
Oil spillages at work can have far reaching effects on your business, that is why it is critical that all oil spillages are controlled as quickly and safely as possible. Oil spillage training for your team is the only way to prepare.
Oil spillages can happen to all companies. This can range from diesel oil leaking out of a vehicle, oil leaking from process or machinery to a large scale spillage resulting from loss of containment. Not only may there be environmental implications, there are always implications on the health of your staff. This short programme is designed for operators who form part of your first response team to an oil spillage and will take them through not only dealing with an oil spill safely but also how to use your own spillage equipment effectively.
We also offer a more advanced Spillage Response Training Course for companies who handle hazardous materials.
