Course Introduction
CIEH Principles of Manual Handling
Manual handling is the single largest cause of reportable injury sustained in the workplace today. The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health has designed this course to provide attendees the required skills and knowledge to practically apply safe lifting techniques in the workplace. This qualification is a stand alone level 1 qualification.
The programme covers a defined syllabus and introduces the delegates to the hazards of manual handling, the risks involved and the control measures available to them.
Candidates are assessed by objective tests of 20 multi-choice questions.
