Lancashire County Council Feedback
In my capacity of Principal Building Surveyor with Lancashire County Property Group I have been associated with Brian and his company for approximately five years. In that time I have recommended Brian and his team to many of Lancashire County Councils and Lancashire Church Diocese schools.
They have over the years provided an effective risk management strategy for our clients that meet the requirements of The Fire Safety Order and produced professional documentation for head teachers, governors and premises managers.
When the RRFSO legislation became law we were approached by schools across Lancashire to provide advice on the cornerstone of the legislation, the fire risk assessment. Fortunately I was recommended Safety Management (UK) very early in the process and took the opportunity to look at their work. I found them to be just what we required to assist our clients and it has proved to be an excellent partnership. The company have consistently provided good concise information and showed the highest regard for fire safety foundations and methods of fire safety management.
Five years on I can confirm that all our clients have been more than satisfied with the standards and professionalism displayed by Safety Management (UK). They are more than happy with the final risk assessments, the methodology adopted on site, the professional attitude of all their staff and the way they approach their engagement with the clients.
This approach is most important in schools and we are very cautious when recommending new contractors to any of our clients. We have to be extremely careful with issues related to health and safety, safeguarding and CRB requirements, these issues are also of the highest importance to head teachers, governors and the OFSTED inspectorate.
