Our experience
We are a local company operating nationally. Our fire risk assessors are local to you, giving you a number of benefits:
- Local assessors understand local fire safety issues and problems
- Local assessors mean that there are no travel expenses increasing your fees
- Should questions or problems arise local assessors are on hand to assist
All of our fire risk assessors have served with a large Local Authority Fire Service (or the industrial equivalent) and have a vast amount of practical fire safety experience (including enforcement) and have a detailed understanding of the legislation, allowing you the comfort of knowing their 30 years experience will benefit your business.
Our assessors are members of the Institute of Fire Engineers, listed on the IFE Register for Fire Risk Assessors, and of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers, also listed on their register.

Quality assurance
What this practically means is that quality assurance is part of the culture at Safety Management (UK); we monitor the standards of the assessments we deliver in a number of ways:
- Periodic assessor peer reviews
- This involves each assessor being accompanied on one visit per year by one of their peers, this report is then peer reviewed also
- Management reviews
- All assessments are checked by an individual other than the assessor for quality
- Sampling Assessments
- A percentage of assessments undertaken are picked at random and qualified by another assessor to ensure accuracy.
- Client feedback sheets
- Online feedback forum
